Open to all public governmental agencies, profit and non-profit institutions, universities, community groups and faith-based organizations. Proposals should be of national relevance, significantly advance the field of community policing, and demonstrate an understanding of community policing as it pertains to the application topic. Initiatives that primarily or solely benefit one or a limited number of law enforcement agencies or other entities will not be considered for funding.Grants will be made from a minimum of $75,000 to a maximum of $500,000.

Grant Opportunity: DOJ Community Policing Development
The U.S. Department of Justice has released their FY 2010 Application Guide for the Community Policing Development program. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2010. The eligibility requirements are as follows:
