Grant Opportunity: Improving Literacy Through School Libraries

It's late February and already I can smell spring in the air. Of course, I'm a grant writer and, for me, spring smells not of flowers but of fresh ink drying on federal Department of Education RFPs. The latest is the perennial Improving Literacy through School Libraries program. Grants of $30,000 to $500,000 will be awarded; applications are due April 20.
