Grant Opportunity: ED Integration of Schools and Mental Health Systems

The federal Department of Education has published the Grants for the Integration of Schools and Mental Health Systems RFP for 2010. Word on the grapevine (actually, word directly from the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools which administers this grant) is that many OSDFS programs will be consolidated next year into one, large Safe Schools/Healthy Students program. SS/HS isn't having an open competition this year and next year's competition is sure to be a doozie. For those who don't already know, the Integration grant is fundamentally a planning grant for SS/HS and is practically considered the precursor to a successful bid for SS/HS funding. Strike while the iron is hot folks! This grant is a gift that keeps on giving!
